Toussaint Louverture ak Leclerc 4 je kontre

Toussaint Louverture fenk aprann nouvèl ekspedisyon Jeneral Leclerc la.  Gouvènè Jeneral la sele chwal li, epi li pati nan pwent zile a, bò Samana, kote solèy leve a.

Jeneral Leclerc voye anonse Henri Christophe li gen entansyon debake Okap. Christophe reponn Leclerc:

“Se Toussaint ki Gouvènè zile a. Fòk mwen mande li otorizasyon anvan mwen kite ou debake. Si anvan, mwen jwenn otorizasyon sa a, yon sèl sòlda franse pèmèt li mete pye sou tè sa a, m ap boule vil Okap epi n ap goumen sou sann dife jouk sa kaba”.

Leclerc debake, Christophe fè tout moun kite vil Okap monte nan mòn yo epi, an premye, li mete dife nan yon bèl palè yo te fenk fin bati pou li.

Paris, 17 Brimer, an 10 Répiblique francé, yon et indivisible. PROCLAMATION.

Zabitans de Saint Domingue ;

Sitiyasyon an te kritik pou Toussaint, anpil nan sòlda li yo pran nan bèl pawòl Napoléon Bonaparte yo.

“pitit mwen yo: èske nou t ap gen kouraj itilize bayonèt nou kont mwen?”.

Tout nèg mete ajenou, yo mande Toussaint padon.

Men, sa, se te yon viktwa momantane. Toussaint deside chanje estrateji. Li ekri Jeneral Leclerc li di l ap soumèt li. Mèzalò, li pwofite di Leclerc pinga li mal entèprete jès li fè a, paske li gen mwayen pou li ta anpeche yon sèl grenn sòlda franse sòti nan kanpman li, san lavi li pa menase. Li di li vle evite yon beny san sou zile a.

Nan dokiman otè Meriken Wendell Phillips ekri nan ane 1860, li rapòte konvèsasyon ant Toussaint epi Leclerc, tousuit apre yo te fè sèman lapè a.

Leclerc voye je l gade sòlda li yo ki byen ekipe, ame jouk nan dan epi li tounen li wè ki jan lame Toussaint an an mal makak, rad yo an ranyon epi se dezoutwa bout fizi yo genyen nan men yo.

Mwen t ap pran yo nan men ou epi mwen kale ou ak yo!”.

RastafarI love. Thanks a lot Jafrikayiti for another great blog post. I learn so much from reading these posts which you ground in the true legacy of 1804. For me, the best part about this blog post was the end when General Toussaint’s troops are compared to the French soldiers who were well dressed and armed with good weapons. As you said in your commentary after the showing of the film “Ayiti Beyrayed” there is great humanity in Ayiti people which outshines their garments. And, we should remember that the Code Noir forbade blacks in Ayiti from wearing the same fabric and clothes as whites. So, adornment and clothing were specific ways that radicalized kkkapitalism was enforced in Ayiti it kept the order and maintained the white power structure. I’m wondering g why you feel that this was a relevant post at this time? Do you feel that Ayiti’s people are gonna have to fight back by Any Means? The folks on the streets are not weaponized, the police forces are going along with Dikkktator Moise. The only way to fight back is with rocks and sticks. Thankfully, we have truth on our side. And, I would like to believe that we also have determination and courage which will give us the power to win against the Tet Kale tyrants. Blessed love.#1804 #Ayiti #wewillwinagain! #downwithphtk! #fanmilavalas

  2. Indeed comrade Marie-Nadine, in this generation, we will need to take the powerful weapons of the oppressor and use them for our liberation.

For instance, I spent several years researching the Judeo-Christian ethnocentric superstition before publishing “Viv Bondye! Aba Relijyon!”. It is my hope to contribute to breaking several pieces of the mental chains that maintain our people in perpetual psychological enslavement. Zonbi pa fè revolisyon! Likewise for the education system where generations have been fed falsehoods about the nature of our ancestors’ struggle and the ennemies they faced.

Toussaint, Christophe, Dessalines, Sanite Bélair, Grann Toya, Claire Heureuse used their intellect and superior moral ground to disarm the enslavers and beat them out of the island. We need to follow in their footsteps and beat the enslavers out of our souls, once and for all. Uhuru!

Nou la e nou refize fè lèd!

RastafarI love Jafrikayiti. Thanks for replying to my comments. I think that your book “Vic Bondye ” is a great testament to your determination to decolonize by stripping the filth of white supremacy which is taught through kkkristianity. I am not sure which of the tools that we can borrow from the “masters” (who enslaved our minds and our ancestors bodies), to free ourselves? Autre Lorde insisted that ” the masters tools will not dismantle the master’s house”. So, please forgive me, I’m kinda lost, I don’t agree with their hateful strategies and tactics which always destroy innocent lives. And, those of us who live in the diaspora can only ask and pressure our representative in the U.S. government to act and force Moise Tet Kalevout! And, go on to the elections. Blessed love.#1804 #Ayiti # downwithphtk! # FreeAyiti
